Ever since I was a young child, barely able to see the stovetop, I have loved food and cooking. My mother and grandmother taught me the basics of "Home Cooking" beginning at age 8 and over the years I have used those skills to propel me into a very satisfying career.

I began cooking professionally in 1988 at the Glover Restaurant in Guntsville, Alabama and after several years and a few restaurants later I landed a job at the Green Bottle Grill here in Huntsville. I meet Paul (Pauli) Thornton while working there and we eventually convinced ourselves that we could be successful in the restaurant business in our own.


In 1998 we opened Pauli's and with a lot of blood, sweat and good luck the restauarnt became a success.


I left Pauli's in 2000 to open up 801 Franklin in Huntsville and was there for 5 years. Paul and I returned in 2005 to Pauli's and now I'm back "Home."
